The esteemed WCPEC Award is presented every four years, when the three major conferences EU PVSEC, IEEE PVSC and PVSEC come together on the occasion of the World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion. It honours individuals that have promoted global cooperation across international communities and have made exemplary and recognised contributions to a specific area in PV.

The nomination for candidates for the exceptional WPCEC Award is open until 15 April 2022.

Help raise awareness for the extraordinary progress and improvement in photovoltaics and use your voice to acknowledge the exceptional individual who has made these advances possible by submitting your nomination by 15 April.

Needless to say, the European conference does not refrain from awarding the annual, prestigious Becquerel Prize within the framework of the WCPEC. The Becquerel Prize is awarded to an individual with outstanding scientific, technical or managerial merit in the development of photovoltaic solar energy.

The nomination process is ongoing, and you still have the chance to honour an expert who you think deserves this renowned Prize and submit your proposal by 25 April 2022.
